Способ, с помощью которого компания, входящая в группу компаний, передает какому-то другому члену этой же группы полагающиеся ей выгоды от более низкого налогообложения в результате понесенных убытков или какие-то другие платежи, поскольку сама не может воспользоваться налоговой льготой. Такая льгота применима не во всех случаях убытков, поскольку требования к уставам групп компаний жестко определены. Снижению налогообложения, а фактически налоговым скидкам для отдельных членов группы компаний, могут также служить передача одной из них другой авансовой выплаты корпорационного налога (advance corporation tax), ролловерной льготы (см.: roll-over relief) и дохода группы (group income), хотя ни один из этих способов нельзя квалифицировать как льготу в группе.
